Note Taking #
I kept using Obsidian and setup the sync system using Syncthing, so I can view and edit my notes on iOS/macOS/Linux/Web.
I also evaluated Standard Notes and Outline to self-host my notes, but they lack features Obsidian can provide so I finally gave up.
Photos Management #
After using Shared Library of Apple Photos I found it’s a dream feature for me, so I end up to subscribed the 2TB iCloud storage plan and stop maintaining my PhotoPrism library, shut down the NAS. I also keep another copy of all files on AliDrive, it has poor experience to manage photos compares to iCloud, but it is cheap, fast and big. 8TB/$2 per month(it also has discount occasionally).
